The story revolves around a little boy and his first Halloween going out alone. The wind in the trees, the skittering leaves and all the things he thinks he hears and sees are SPOOK-EE because we all have that thing we cannot see. It's called Imagination. A book filled with crazy little rhymes that tickle a child's ear, a fun book to read, a fun book to hear.

On a SPOOK-EE-WOOK-EE Halloween

There are SCARE-EE-WAREE things

That cannot be seen.

They cause those SQUEEK-EE-WEEK-EE sounds

That make you SCARED-EE-WARED-EE

Cause this is HALLOWEEN

When EVERYTHING is SCARE-EE!!

This is Carol Reid's first published book. She began writing stories, poetry and lyrics as a child. It's appropriate that her first book is a children's book. She loves children, especially telling and reading them stories. She is founder and current president of The Ontonagon Theater of Performing Arts ,a professional photographer and past editor-publisher of an industrial in-house newspaper. She loves music, playing keyboard, reading, writing, playing golf, poetry and Lake Superior Sunsets. Having traveled through-out Europe and the United States, she has come full circle back to where she was born, Ontonagon Mi . , a little town nestled on the shores of Lake Superior. She and her husband, John, have one son, Rick. The author can be reached at her e-mail, sunbeam@jamadots.com.
