This charming and insightful book is an illustrated guide to help the reader understand himself. This highly complex subject has been successfully transformed into a really simplistic concept. It uniquely brings together the four aspects of humanity; the physical, the mental, the emotional and the spiritual consciousness’ using stories and metaphors. The delightfully imaginative drawings encapsulate the essence of the text. DAMAGE and REPAIR prepares the reader for a deeper understanding of who he is, why he is who he is and encourages him to be more of who he was born to be.
“Look up there! That’s where I want to live.” I pointed to a house at the top of a French mountain.
The moment that I made the decision to leave my secure life in E n gland, magical events followed me as I moved to that house on the mountain. I lived alone. I faced my own demons. I found my own peace.
I was inspired to write DAMAGE and REPAIR during my two years on that magical mountain.
My son came to stay one summer and he himself was inspired to create the illustrations.
