Self-reflective consciousness calls all to celebrate the electrical ambiguity of chemistry in Cosmic Nature.
The priesthood of Eucharistic working, like DNA, intends the middle way of symbiotic reconciliation. It takes femininity and masculinity together to nullify the pathogenic alienation of lethal egoism.
People! Celebrate the ambiguity of electricity! Men! Celebrate the feminine side of humanity! Women! Celebrate the masculine side of humanity! Let the electricity of chemistry work the magic of nature and reconcile the polarities of faith and reason …
Whither the “Catholic” Future? If the Roman Catholic Church can expunge the grievous fault of imperialism from its ecclesial hegemony, it can become the Eucharistic Catholic Church. While I expect the change to happen, I do not expect it to happen in my lifetime. The great and general unsettling amongst denominational Christian churches points to change in the offing.
I envision the direction Catholicism may take, and which I believe the Cosmic Christian vision requires. [Let me acknowledge that the opinion here is that of one of many extra-institutional types.] There is a hunger and desire of a growing body of non-institutional types who see a greater coming together, for amongst the people is recognized the conscious need of convergence more than divergence. One can see beyond institutions and still work with and for institutional redemption.
The common cause of healing the irreligious hurt of global ecology compels all people to be more honest as to institutional complicity in wasting nature. The common, high risk future of life on Earth, perhaps more than anything else, brings people of faith to search for Eucharistic commonality. Fideistic Christian cults will diminish in the face of evolving intelligence — Wisdom.
“Evolution” will be a welcome word, not a feared and demeaned word. Evolution Theology will be valued for its agency in bringing about greater convergence; for reasons of self-interest; even cultic Christians may opt for greater convergence within the vision of Evolution Theology. The Common Cause Movement grounds in knowledge of Eucharistic necessity, physical and psychical.
Recognition of the Instance of Divinity in the Sacrament of Natural Order is a centering force, not a backward, but a future-directed trajectory — not just for believers, but for all humanity, all life. The communal future destines all for growth into “otherness,” what is growth of realism in a Eucharistic future. The baptismal anointing of universal priesthood will gain in the valuation of faith confirmation. Hierarchical cults of male dominion will be exposed for the injury they have inflicted, and still inflict. Priesthood in the Eucharistic Catholic Church will be recognized in the Baptismal Commission.
The Theology of Trinity (process and Com-Munity) will broaden and deepen understanding, and the call for con-celebration will be heard. Authentic compassion will be the root spirituality of and the common impetus for greater Godliness in daily living. The leadership of Eucharistic Ecumenism will be led by women, but men will come to recognize common likeness in God. The future promise is the Eucharistic Catholic Church, liberated from Rome.
