"Ok," I thought... Now I'm finished dressing, I grabbed my garment bag and headed out the door. I had to make a stop at the barbershop before arriving to the photo shoot. As I pulled into the parking lot of llennium 2 barbershop I noticed a homeless woman eating from a trashcan. I shut off the engine and just watched her as she rummaged through the trash. She grabbed a brown paper bag opened it then started to eat a half eating hamburger from it. At that moment I got a real good look at her. "I know her... I thought, Thats Malinda Jackson my twelfth grade sweetheart... Damn what happen to her?" I got out of my car and began walking towards her, Malinda stopped and looked at me with a crazyed look in her eye's. Her hair was matted and she looked like she had not bathed in months, Malinda's skin was leathery and wrinkled from the harsh elaments living on the streets her fingernails were long and filled with dirt. Slightly bent over her long red trench coat swayed with every movement she made. As I stepped closer we both looked into each others eyes. I saw hell burning inside her soul and I could tell she has been on the street for years. The drugs have beaten her down to the point she had no more will to fight only to survive I could tell from the look in her eyes she had no idea who I was. I reached into my pocket pulled out a money clip peeled off a hundred dollar bill and handed it to her. Malinda looked at me with her head tilted ticking and twitching like a curious wild animal, she snatched the money from my hand and walked off talking to herself as she made her way down the street with a limp. That hurt me deep down in soul to see her that way, but the worse part was the fact that she didnt know who I was... or did she?
