This anthology of poetry, quotes and inspirational messages cover a spectrum of life testimonial experiences of people from different walks of life. Every piece has a message or mirrors real life situations, and it is the hope of the author that others will be touched and/or helped in a positive way. Kimberley believes that tapping into personal experiences of her own life and the lives of others is her way of paying forward blessings. Growing to become transparent & unafraid to tell it like it is would prove to be one of her greatest blessings.
SOW HEARTACHE…REAP HEARTACHE ------- *Remembering a time years ago when I acted recklessly & selfishly. Stepped out & left someone’s heart torn. With much regret for the way I treated him; I asked for his forgiveness. I accepted responsibility for my actions & promised never to treat another person that way again. It was clear that he wasn't the man for me, but it was even clearer that I would reap exactly what I sowed. ----- *Two years later...I reaped it 100 times worse, and I am so grateful that God taught me that lesson. It was one of the most important lessons of my life. He had to show me the pain and heartache I caused. He needed me to know what it felt like, so that I would never inflict that on another person. God wasn’t about to bring another good man in my life until I’d learn what true love does when she’s bored. Thank You Lord God!
Kimberley is a native of Alexandria, Virginia and currently residing in Waldorf, Maryland with her husband and 4 daughters, ages 26, 22, 11 and 7. Writing since the 5th grade, Kimberley has always been shy about allowing others to read her work. It wasn’t until recently that she joined social websites, at the encouragement of close friends, in hopes that she would use them as a platform to share her poetry and inspirational writings. Kimberley’s willingness to share even some of her own testimonies is an awesome blessing to those who may have similar life situations. She believes that sharing your testimony is one of the best blessings you could ever pass on.
