This book of poetry and short stories details a man’s life experiences and events he has witnessed throughout his journey.  You will have the pleasure of reading about the joys and pains; accomplishments and defeats, as well as the strengths and weaknesses we experience in life.

This book wasn’t written to be negative or to shoot anyone, thing or particular beliefs down, but to help you come to a healthy realization of your condition.  No matter how well we think we’re doing, there are always areas where we can cultivate and grow as well as continue to stand strong in areas where you might be doing fine.

With a mirror his audience, a bedroom his stage,

Vivid dreams played out, in his mind like a reel.

From childhood, adolescence and into adulthood,

Memories of those moments, still give him chills.

But decades of whispers, from talents untapped,

Blow drums and drain lives, like weak batteries.

Fear of the unknown, making crucial mistakes,

And procrastination only prolongs ones destiny.

Over time, the fear of not pursuing his dream,

Surpassed the pain of not giving success a try.

Failures became opportunities, to learn, grow,

Improve, and a decision to do more than get by.

He learned how to speak, and motivate himself,

Making adjustments, along the way, as needed.

Now stages and big screens, replace his bedroom.

A new beginning, fulfilled by a true decision.
