The world of religion and the world of science are one and the same. The only difference is the perspective from which people view the world. Religious/scientific spirituality is the universal spirituality of human consciousness, the same original cosmic energy evolving in self-developed, self-reflective understanding—hypostasis.
As Earth-substance is the means of our spiritual encounter with God, so we are the means of God’s encounter with Earth-substance. We are the reflex/reflective doers of Earth Sacrament, the hypostasis of divine/human encounter, God’s intelligent presence on Earth.
Humankind is on a collision course with nature’s providence for it sells too easily its soul to the lures of consumerist prostitution. We are far down the slippery slope. We need to catch ourselves and confront ourselves, reduce consumption and return to self-identification with nature.
The cumulative toll of the standoff between religion and science is too great to condone. Nature and people are victimized and threatened with terminal degradation by institutional greed, moral indifference, and by conscience politically stymied.
In ways that men cannot understand and do not experience, the Intelligence of Eucharist informs women to find joy in pain, because, in their bodily being they celebrate life’s fullness of growing, of birth, transfiguration, resurrection and ascendancy into consciousness. Women celebrate the joy of renewal, Eucharist and Second Coming in every Newborn.
Trust and distrust grow side-by-side like wheat and weeds and become more deeply implicated in the subconscious with each re-iteration. On an ongoing basis continuing vigilance needs to avoid deepening the implication of evil and facilitate the greater implication of good… Each of us, whether male or female is a “Trinitarian” person, namely, an individual qualified in male/female iterations. The informing of consciousness and the justification of conscience happens continuously in the intentional iterations of harmonic resonance — the way of Godlikeness
Vatican II (Gaudium et Spes) committed Church to the transformational mission of justifying theology and ecclesiology by engaging intentionally the rational, evolutionary mechanisms of communal harmony. The end of the schism between religion and science might also end the divorce of Faith and Reason and return trust in the healing of bipolar disorders, the human person and nature.
