I wrote the Phat News of Mark so that hippies, street kids, and gutter punks would have a copy of the Gospel of Mark in their own street language.

The Rainbow Family is the next generation of American hippies. They live and meet in the National Forests to get back to the simple life and avoid the worldly culture they refer to as Babylon.

Our ministry is to feed physically and spiritually. Matthew, Chapter 25, is the bulwark of our outreach. We believe that our God is a jealous God and that He loves Rainbows, Drainbows, Road-dogs, street kids and gutter punks. God is the God of the fatherless and the homeless, and He puts the homeless into homes.

God has been so generous to the Rainbow Family through our ministry that they report His amazing provision as “Jesus kicks down phat.”
