They say sixteen is just a numberbut for six girls, sixteen is just the beginning

When six friends attend their final year in high school, their last worry is their all-important exams. They begin to experience changes, and it's definitely not puberty, unless puberty includes being able to read minds and cause explosions with the flick of a finger.

They begin to develop powers, and just when they start having fun with the idea, trouble strikesand you know what they say, there's no smoke without fire

Hold her, Amy!”

Isis frowned at Arleta’s voice and peered through a window to see Claudia on the floor on all fours in pain.  Around her were three girls Isis recognized as the stoners.

“Amy, just hold her hands and make sure she can’t move!” Arleta ordered.

“I can’t!” A weak voice replied.

Isis sought out Amy and found her standing far away from the girls, looking afraid.

Anger coursed through Isis’ body and she clenched her fists tightly.

She actually couldn’t believe what she saw before her!  Her eyes ran up and down Claudia’s crouched state as the stoners gathered around her and kicked her.  Claudia let out a gurgled shout of agony and tried to get up but was shoved down again.

Isis felt like she was going to burst with blood thirst…she couldn’t contain herself any longer.  She wanted to throw open that door and beat the hell out of those girls but she was afraid.  Isis’ nails dug into her palms, she felt like such a coward.

She looked through the window and found Claudia staring straight at her and suddenly Isis felt power course through her whole body.  The anger and blood thirst returned and was re-directed straight into her hands and without warning a surge of energy shot out of her palms throwing the door off its hinges and surging it directly at the stoners.

Claudia leapt out of the way using the last of her energy and Amy screamed as the door hit the three girls, throwing them into the wall with an enormous crash.

Isis didn’t need a genius to tell her those girls were dead.
