This story is about the happiest little dog you'll ever meet—whose name is Pete—and he is the perfectly positive star of /Puggle in Pajamas/. Within these pages—as well as your imagination—you will spend one truly extraordinary day with Pete, beginning in the morning at his apartment in Yorkville. Along the way, you'll meet his friends Stella, Mickey, Dallie, and Rudy, who are the best pals a Puggle could ever have! As day approaches evening, Pete makes frantic stops at fancy and favorite New York City places including Tiffany’s and Tudor City, where we meet his parents and a special friend. After that it’s a stop at a hip coffee shop that’s humming with poetry performances and music, then a sprint through Central Park to a great steak dinner with his pals! However, the day gets away from Pete and one small mistake turns into a huge problem, changing the course of his evening in expected ways. As a result, Pete learns how much he truly loves his friends. After all, at the end of the day, who are the true rock stars in our lives but our family and friends?

Kristen Booth's purple baby jelly was hosed off her in the fine state of Ohio. After being well educated in the Zanesville Public School System and at Kent State University, she fled the heartland and landed on the hot New York City asphalt in the summer of 1997: Kristen had dancing shoes in one hand and a writing pen in the other. The prior comprised the first five years of her life in the City while the latter was always a quiet mistress (New York provides enough fodder for late night journal entries, for sure). After a few spells of devotion and devastation, those journal words fought for the spotlight and won. Kristen published her first book of poetry titled Shine On in 2004 after winning the contract at a poetry convention with over 3,000 participants from all over the world. Since then she has written a biography based on the life of her grandfather, countless articles, blogs and marketing copy and she is currently fine-tuning a dirt-filled novel that has all the sorts of storylines voracious readers crave. Be careful what you wish for... /Puggle In Pajamas/ will be Kristen's first major "in-stores" publication and she feels it is so good that you can pour maple syrup on it and eat it! Not literally, but you should get used to seeing Pete, "'Cause you're gonna be buying Band-Aids and lunch boxes for your kids with him on it!"
