These are the poems and essays I have worked on with slowly growing intensity for about the past 40 years, until now I think the work is complete, though I have said that before, a question that may not be answered until the Earth either survives or collapses under the pressure of growing human appetites for more of everything forever. PARADOX
Though reveling in our perfect flaw,
time endlessly better and worse,
whatever we so arrange,

The author is a retired worker who never stoppped working, always keeping busy at something interesting for exercise of body and mind, like volunteering, and writing poetry and essays about the lifelong questions that have plagued him from a tormented childhood through a typically hard working, but questioning adulthood, like why are we here, and how to get through this paradoxical life on a wonderful and terrible planet..
