In the ever recurring passage of the ages, as life, civilizations, cultures and humanity's awareness have evolved, a message has been eternally whispered in man's ear; a continuum of Divine Revelation has unfolded essential to the next pending chapter in the Book of Life and bearing a profound vision of mankind's spiritual heritage. In the first two books of this trilogy we have explored our origins and the nature of the universe we share. Now we turn to the ultimate quest for the enlightened awareness of the Christ nature dormant within each of us. Using the New Testament as allegory for this quest we live the story of Jesus with him, examining the journey through his eyes. What is the meaning of the virgin birth and the visit of the three Magi? Why three temptations in the wilderness and what were the real tests involved? Why did Jesus  bring Peter James and John with him to the mount of the Transfiguration? What were the underlying meanings of the mantras spoken on the cross? Did he really die for our sins, or live to show us the "way"? The answers will surprise you and they could transform the meaning of this scripture for all time in the hearts of men and women of faith everywhere.

"The Christ Epoch" is the quintessential exploration of the mystical Path of Light personified by Christ. It delves deep into the symbolic meanings of the events depicted in the gospel accounts of the New Testament, revealing the nature of the path before each human being and the perfected state of human consciousness.

INTRODUCTION

          We have concluded two thirds of our journey through the complex, profound and mystifying world of metaphysical thought, in Book One and Book Two of this trilogy. In the words of a student-friend who had given up drugs in order to study this astounding body of knowledge, “It’s all too awesome to contemplate while stoned.” I agree. Inadvertently and unexpectedly, a rather interesting cure for drug abuse as well as other addictions. It has always seemed to me that there was a wonderful high already built into the search for Divine Knowledge (Gnosis) that required no additional stimulus. I hope you have found it so. Just a contemplation of the Whole and our place within It was always enough to take my consciousness to lofty and exhilarating heights. Now we come to that which shall synthesize it all and give the final shape and form to our exploration of the Cosmic Process and its intended consummation.

          For those of an intellectual persuasion with an insatiable thirst for spiritual knowledge, Book One and Book Two of this trilogy have, hopefully, met that need. In addition, for those undergoing the rigorous disciplines that are prelude to walking the Path described herein and preparing for the higher evolution to which this work eludes, I have attempted to describe, discuss and put into proper context the levels of consciousness involved. 

& n b s p ; & nbsp;                    In consideration of those as yet unready to tread the Way, I have attempted to explore the attitudes and mindset that will serve to meet the struggles and challenges that are indigenous to the human drama. The psychological struggles of the human experience are at times painful and distracting. The work to be done is indeed demanding and intense, but a necessary prelude to that which must follow. However, as difficult as is the challenge of living in the world of men, the Path of which this work bespeaks is far more demanding and complex. This is clearly more than an intellectual pursuit that we have been addressing. It is a way of life that is exalted and profound. The bottom line is simply this, in spite of the fact that this may limit the available audience for this work, I must acknowledge this is not for everyone; at least not yet. There is no arrogance intended by this statement. All humankind has a Divine Origin and must be viewed in terms of its spiritual Essence. None-the-less, it is clear that the level of spiritual maturity differs from one soul to another and therefore, the psychic sensitivity and growth needs will vary. It is impossible to capture those complex and varied needs in a single presentation, thus, I have focused upon that which seemed to me most significant at the moment. This Book Three of the trilogy was originally intended as the only book. From the outset, however, it became clear, as I began to formulate an initial draft, that the work required a comprehensive foundation of metaphysical knowledge in order for it to make any sense to the reader. Thus, the first two books came into being as a preface to this one. Using that background knowledge, we can now unfold the Christ Epoch as the synthesis and application of all that we have explored up to now. In an interesting manner, this Book Three of the trilogy is a summary of that which preceded it, as all of Life’s experiences have been prologue to the experiences undergone by Christ and must eventually be undergone by each of us. It is all prelude to the Journey that is now faced by mankind, en masse. It is that thought that should be held in mind as we proceed.      & n b s p ; & nbsp;

Anthony Fisichella studied and taught metaphysics, and specifically the Ageless Wisdom, for over 40 years. In addition to an in-depth study of the world’s religions and philosophies he trained through the arcane school of the Lucis Trust, the Rosicrucians, and was an initiated Freemason.

While living on Long Island, he taught adult education and college classes. Founder of a nonprofit New Age Center, Tony facilitated a wide variety of spiritual and esoteric programs, and established a platform for many well-known, contemporary and up-and-coming New Age speakers. The Center sponsored an International Festival showcasing eastern and western spiritual and metaphysical teachers.

Long Island’s Newsday magazine dubbed him the “meat and potatoes guru,” because of the straightforward easily comprehensible manner in which he delivers this intricate information A metaphysician, Gestalt Therapist, motivational speaker and author, Tony had a profound ability to touch deeply, those places where understanding is essential to the growth and development of the human soul.

Until his passing in late 2004 Tony lead a weekly advanced

metaphysical class at the Theosophical Society in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He counted it’s members among his closest friends. Tony’s comprehensive book Echoes From Eternity has been used at Westbrook University and other colleges as the textbook for courses in metaphysics.
