Satya R. Chatterjee, PhD, PE, is an independent consultant for environmental and management services. He is also an author and a speaker, not only on engineering and environmental issues but also on diverse topics like ecology, religion, philosophy, law and governance.
He retired from industry after almost four decades of service to Petrochemical, Petroleum, Oil & Gas and Engineering & Construction industries.
Besides holding a doctoral degree, he is a registered professional engineer, a member of AIChE, a member of ISA and a member of WEF. He is also a life member of Asiatic Society of India, one of the oldest illustrious learned institutions in the world.
Amongst the companies he worked for are Aramco, Bechtel and Exxon etc.
The pocketbook is a result of his keen and impressive knowledge and experience in the process, engineering, environment, construction and other related disciplines as an engineer, a management executive or a project leader.
Chatterjee, his wife and their children (all grown up) have been and are involved in many voluntary spiritual, social, educational and cultural services. Due to their initiative, effort and sponsorship, several robust service organizations have been established and are sustained.
