These lifelong best friends remain thick as thieves although distanced for several years.  When reunited in San Diego, they find themselves entwined in a web of turbulent relationships.

Heart-pumping sensuality and tantalizing dialogue provide an intricate elixir of machismo and naiveté to this emotional rollercoaster of a novel that leaves readers wondering how good real chemistry could be.

Arctic Ice-Capades

“Maneuvering; the pump has ruptured, the flooding has NOT stopped!”  The seawater was spraying everywhere, making it near impossible to see, hear or catch my breath.  I grabbed a wrench, dove into the water and jammed it into the hand wheel.  It didn’t move, so I turned around and kicked the wrench until the valve shut!  The roaring ocean instantly halted to a deafening silence.  Exhausted and out of air, my body fell limp against the hull.  The Casualty team pulled me out of Seawater Bay from above.  The Captain bellowed, “Put her on the ROOF!” and with that, TUSKEGEE exploded through the mirrored surface atop the Pacific!

 

A Wicked Web

She covered my mouth with a silk scarf and backed away.  Something seemed odd because she had never been this promiscuous.  Not wanting to spoil a GREAT night, I watched as my belly dancer performed for me.  We made love.  Climaxed together!  She got up and went into the bathroom.  A minute later, she came back, laid down and we started again.  While kissing her breasts, I opened my eyes to see another woman peeking at us through the open bathroom door!  I jumped up and yelled, “Hell No!”

 

The Barbarian

Oh I was pissed!  I was afraid I was mad enough to kill.  When the door opened, all he could see was my fist coming at him like a missile.  Jabs and uppercuts; haymakers and bolo punches.  A friendship scorned.  We got at it like two wild tigers.  Ferocious. Barbaric.  My left hook was quite right, slamming into his jaw.  Blood exploded from his mouth.  His body crashed to the ground.  I kicked him twice in his ribs.  Once across the face. Left him lying. On the floor. Motionless.
