This book is dedicated, in part, to the many people, who like myself, have felt the Divine call deep within their hearts to conquer the barriers faced daily in our society by people living with permanent physiological, psychological, sociological, and behavioral disabilities.
It is also dedicated to the many professionals, and volunteers in the medical industry, who by providing disabled people with a better standard of quality care in the interest, and promotion of a greater sense personal independence, enable those who require accessibility to achieve greater mobility. For it is through the achievement of mobility that we attain to our highest human potential.
Through out the course of history the beauty of nature has inspired millions, the world over, to stop and reflect on the Devine role present in the gift of creation.
In this book we will examine this concept of the Devine role, and furthermore how this providential inspiration effects the Natural Order. Throughout the course of our examination we will look at the various ways that humanity has used these natural gifts throughout history. We will also evaluate the many ways that we, as humans, may benefit from the application of these natural principles into our modern everyday lives.
In order for us to begin our journey into the phases of Human life and the role nature has to play in steadying our course however, we must first decide for ourselves how it is that we view the Creator behind the natural creation. For that, we must ask ourselves the question. β What is it that God means to me, to you, and to those that we know and love?β
The Dictionary provides the following definition of the word God: 1. supreme or ultimate reality: as a : the being perfect in power, wisdom and goodness who is worshipped as creator and ruler of the universe b: Christian Science : the incorporeal divine Principle ruling over all as eternal Spirit : Infinite Mind 2. a being or object believed to have more than natural attributes and powers and to require human worship; specifically : one controlling a particular aspect or part of reality 3. A person or thing of supreme value 4. A powerful ruler.
However you choose to define God is up to you. One of the many privileges of being human is that we have the ability to make decisions for ourselves based upon the experience we have had throughout the course of our lives. There is, in the end, no one who has experienced this life the way we, as individuals have been forced to live it. There is no one who has had to experience life the exact way that we have had to experience it. With that in mind therefore, there is no one in our same situation who can decide, for us the roles we may choose to live out, the rules we elect to follow, or the morals and values we supportively live by and consciously uphold. This, in and of itself, is what makes the journey of human life such an intricate part of the Natural Order.
It also helps us choose to define God according to our own spiritual ideals.
What I believe, for the purposes of writing this book, is of no importance. I know in my heart that each of us, as free thinkers, should make an assessment of what we each may choose to believe on our own., in our own way, in a manner which speaks to us on a profoundly personal level.
Ultimately we are the only ones who are responsible for those things that we elect to choose and likewise we are also responsible for how we each may choose to live out our lifestyle choices. We must be able to come to a place in our consciousness, that allows us to accept our own ability to reason with the truths of faith, as we understand them, and have experienced them for ourselves. We must enter into this search with the attitude of wholeness that provides a since of gratification about the fact that we have made an independent choice to fulfill our own destiny, to travel down our own road of life, no matter what its universal outcome may be for us and those we have come to love.
I believe that we all have a calling in life, as members of humanity, to live in harmony with each other, in this way and furthermore that if we do, we will contribute on a consciously spiritual level with the Natural Order that lives around us, and has made us a part of its collective.
This is a dynamic part of the vision that has provided the inspiration for this writing project. My only hope is that this inspiration will inspire each of you, as it has inspired me to live out my calling in the full knowledge of my world around me, and that, as I do, I must remain mindful of its, natural mystery, its majestic creation, and its powerful yet timeless examples.
That, in and of itself, reminds me of the great mystic Meister Eckhart who said,
βThe seed of God is in us. Given an intelligent and hard-working farmer, it will thrive and grow up to God, whose seed it is; and accordingly its fruits will be God-nature . Pear seeds grow into pear trees, nut seeds into nut trees, and God-seed into God.β
