This is based on a true story. All the animals are real and these characters were based on personality.  Millie really did steal the bacon, but of course Ma and Pa would have never believed it—she is such a sweetie.

But according to all the other animals, that is the last thing they believe.  It was fun being all of them to write this book.  There is a lot of meaning; lessons about being greedy, stealing, having a conscience, being remorseful, and love.  There is sadness, as well as funny and serious lessons to be learned about doing something you know you should not.  Thank you for taking the time to read this.

In Rudie and the Blue Van, Rudie and The Barkers learn about "Stranger Danger" and the importance of never going off alone or getting into a vehicle with a stranger.  In this Sam and Friends Book, Rudie encounters danger and fear when he is dognapped and it is up to Sam, Boots and Hannibal to help rescue him.  The Barkers join forces with their neighborhood friends and the birds to track down the blue van in their efforts to save Rudie.

Character/Safety Lesson: Friends should try to protect one another from danger.  Never leave your friends to help a stranger by yourself, stay with your friends.  Don’t ever get into a vehicle with a stranger.  If you are forced into a vehicle with a stranger do all that you can to let someone know that you are there.  Kick out the taillight, make noise if someone stops the vehicle, and try to get free from the stranger without letting him or her know what you are doing so that you don’t put yourself in further danger.

This Story needed to be told since the day when Man first decided to have a wild Animal made in to a Domestic one there have been many Stories told over time some of them very good some not so but this one you will agree is one of a Dog who is loved so much and gives so much back to her Owner that it has to be told why she is so Special! Senta is a mix between German Sheppard & Collie she has the best of both Dogs, a Neighbor of mine said to be one time, but she is not a pure breed, that is true she is not one pure breed but two rolled up in one she is one of the smartest dogs I know she always knows when her Owner is not so up to par to play with her she is happy on those days just to go for a walk she knows that tomorrow she will get the good run she is used to getting almost every day. She is also a Dog who only Barks when there is danger or some one coming up to the House. When she is outside with Monika some of the Neighbor dogs bark at her she does not respond she just looks over to them once that is all she ignores them as if to say why are you barking there is no one out here but us. She is also very protective of Monika’s Husband Peter he can not get close to Monika if Senta does not want him to. They do have a very special bond and I hope you enjoy this book just as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Katlyn and Jody is a story that shows the commitment and relationship that has developed between a child and her pet. It shows a sense of responsibility and the willingness to change if need be. Katlyn, even as a young child, is directed by her parents in the ways of caring for her own pet. She is diligent however there is this one time that she does not listen to her parents and it nearly costs her the life of Jody as well as herself.  This underlines the desire to do what we want to do and not what is best.  In conclusion, life has its own ways of teaching us valuable lessons that we all need to learn.  Overall, the story’s contribution is designed to capture the imagination as well as to enlighten and impact a measure of comfort for the reader who may be dealing with a similar circumstance.

About the Book

Just when life in Glenwood had seemingly gotten back to normal for Emma Rogers and friends, things start to heat up. Again! Unfortunately, it’s not long before the girls and their canine counterparts find themselves back in the thick of it.

Tragedy strikes at a Pennsylvania dog show when a handler and several dogs are found dead. Emma, Joanie, and Sally are dumbfounded when they hear the news.  At first, nothing is known about the deaths, what caused them, or why. But when more dogs perish at a show the girls are attending, speculation abounds that the deaths are not from natural causes. There are striking similarities between the two incidents, especially the fact that all the targeted dogs are black. Little does Emma know that her beloved Newfoundland, Cole, now occupies the number one slot on the hit list.

Meanwhile, life at home slips from relative calm to the chaos with which the girls are well acquainted. Emma’s Aunt Agnes decides to take spacey but likable Tammy under her wing; customer, Angie “the-mouth” Newmann, is headed for destruction at Emma and Joanie’s hands; Ben and Emma’s relationship is turned up a notch (or is it down?); the shop is vandalized and that’s only the start of it.
