ABOUT THE NOVEL, THE EPIC SAGA OF THE ISLAND OF EDEN, THREE VOLUMES, AND SEVEN BOOKS. THIS IS THE THIRD VOLUME OF TWO BOOKS, BOOK 6: THE CUBE ROOM; AND BOOK 7, BARNARD'S STAR.

In Book 1, The Doomsberg, Rex King the hero, and Eva Queen the heroine, meet on a cruise ship to antarctica and fall in love, making The Island of Eden one of the greatest love stories of all time. The ship is grabbed by a mysterious force which crashes the ship into an ice hole in a gigantic iceberg. The doomsberg, another big iceberg, is grabbed and pulled to the same spot where the ship crashed into the ice hole. The doomsberg destroys the ship. The people just have time to flee to the top of the gigantic iceberg. The people, led by Rex King, march across the ice to a mountain called Ice Mountain. Many people die. They find the Dream City beneath the ice.

In Book 2, The Dream City, the castawayed people find the golden city and the golden people who live beneath the ice in the dream city. The golden people save the castaways and befriend them. While the castaways are living beneath the ice in the golden city, the gigantic iceberg starts to smash north through sea and sand and mud and rocks, as if it was alive. The world is stunned. The world calls the gigantic mobile iceberg Moby Dick. The ice begins to melt revealing a golden city on a gigantic floating island, a colossal ship. The world calls the golden island The Island of Eden.

In Book 3, The One Year War, the UN partitions the island which was hidden beneath the ice. The Russians get the northern sector. They land troops. Rex King, a leader now of the golden people orders the Russians to remove their troops. The Russians refuse, starting The One Year War, which is how long it takes the golden people to destroy Russia with their wonder weapons.

In Book 4, The Eva Queen, the golden robot Robau gives Rex King a gigantic airship, 3,000 feet long and 1,000 feet wide. It is a colossus, the biggest airship the world has ever seen. It will be used to carry passengers on trips around the world. Rex King names the golden ship The Eva Queen. The big airship has a computer they call Queeny. Many other things happen in Book 4. The golden people claim the oceans of the world.

In Book 5, Zaurell's War, Zaurell, a top E-denn leader goes to West Germany to help them against the East Germans who start a civil war. The golden soldiers are winning the war when their wonder aircraft crashes. Something is drastically wrong with their island. They are trapped in Germany.

In Book 6, The Cube Room, there is a gigantic mysterious cube in the very center of the golden island, from front to back; from side to side, and from top to bottom. Rex King and Eva Queen, a group of people, and Red the robot set out to find the cube room and seek a way inside of it. A 'something' is controlling the golden island ship. What is it and where is it?

In Book 7, Barnard's Star, Rex King, Zaurell, and Aurell set out on a journey to Barnard's Star in a spaceship that Robau the golden robot gives to them. What awaits them across the galaxy? Can they get there and back?

& n b s p ; & nbsp;          What The Frozen Journey is all about is men and women traveling to the nearest star which is Proxima Centaur 4.  2 light years or 25 trillion miles.  The story takes place in the year 2050; Spaceships in that year could travel a maximum speed of a thousand miles a second of 3,6000,000 miles an hour.  Going that speed it would take 792 years to get there. 

& n b s p ; & nbsp;          In order to make it in there lifetimes they had to freeze the bodies.  At a temperature of -273 Centigrade it would put the human body into suspended animation.  This temperature would completely arrest any deterioration on the human and make it last forever.

& n b s p ; & nbsp;          At Journey’s end the machines that froze them would automatically reverse the process and thaw them out.   They would come back to life ready to start a new life at another solar system.  But why go on such a brutal trip?  These people had a good reason for it because our sun was dying.

This is a story of a kind young Martian named Xnod, who received a message to appear before the other Martians; he had no idea what was about to happen.  As he entered the Royal Chamber he was stunned when a booming voice told him, “You are banished to Earth, leave now!”  He was rejected by the whole Martian community.

 

As Xnod was leaving his home planet, and wondering what he would find on Earth, he had a ‘Road to Damascus’ type experience which amounted to much needed help from above.  This started him on a happy and exciting new journey in his life, with new friends, and a new place to call home.

A dead witch haunts A'ly'la’s mind, the ghost of her former forgotten self. They are both assassins, at war over which one of them will live in their body. Passing through Mithris and the Land of Domes on the way back to the ghostly one’s birthplace, they get omens of dangers, including a Talisman of Vengeance, a flaxen girl, a menace of trees, and an Invincible Man. In the Land of Domes, A'ly'la falls in love with its callow, angry King Darr’b. He was put there to rule after being cheated out of the throne of Mithris by his mother and her second husband, Azhn, the sinister Barban King. Azhn is A'ly'la’s father by his adoption of her as soulmate to his daughter.

A'ly'la defeats the ghost inside her, but Darr’b and she are besieged in his castle by rebels. She and Lord Derotql, a holy assassin who protects King Darr’b, fight the rebels. The witch Urtha greets them, men in green accost them, a vindictive Mage haunts them, and the King’s Uncle, Lord Madness, is killed by the Bear God. A'ly'la uses the magic of the ghost inside her to fight the rebel leader, a man armed by the Gods to be Invincible. His holy destiny will destroy her.

Friends and foes abound. To survive, A'ly'la has to solve the mystery of the Invincible Man, and discover how to defeat the undefeatable. To do so, she has to solve the mystery of herself.

Halloween Candy is a Jack O'Lantern of a book. An anthology of horror fact and fiction, newly stuffed after a night of trick-or-treating with film critiques, short stories, haunted house reports, punditry, a screenplay, and an interview with Dark Shadows actor Jonathan Frid. Writings dark and serious and whimsical, and all else that is horror.

In 1984 while bored at work, I coined the name ‘Management by Confusion’. Lack of the ability of management to see or figure out problems became apparent. A friend ‘Pete’ Peterson and I spent about three month putting together a board game that chronicled the adventure of a person through the company ladder to the top. No game company wanted it, so the idea was scrapped, my kids and I still play it.

After years of thinking about it, I decided to begin writing down the new story of Management by Confusion. Around 1995, I was scribbling notes and situations I thought were funny. In 1999, I finally purchased a decent computer, or should I say I actually tried to learn how to use it.

My years in school didn’t pay off in English, so when I figured out that Microsoft word could find most of my errors I was ecstatic.

By 2002, book one or part one was finished and turned down for being to short. Therefore, this time I wasn’t going to give up, and began hammering out book two or part two. It was finished in late 2004, and I began an insane task of editing it, having eight people read it and find errors. I figured it was done then I let the wife read it and she found 100 more, ARGH!! Would it never end? I decided that in February 2006 it was time so here it is.

Management by Confusion is a fast paced romp about six months in the life of a brewery owner and his best friend the chief financial officer.

The owner, Jim loves making money and sharing it with all the employees, and the CFO, Frank can’t find enough places to hide the extra money from the IRS. The crazy adventures occur around them as they purchase a research and develop company that is losing money, as a write off. To Frank’s amazement the company turns around in just one month.

Management by Confusion is a Comedy/ Sci-fi/ Fantasy/ Adventure story that bridges weird to insane. It is written so anyone could read it only because I don’t have a ten million word vocabulary like some writers. So sit down, relax, and read a story that will make you laugh and wonder, where did he come up with that. I swear it’s the plastic fumes, because I have never done drugs, well beer, why do you think I used a brewery in the story. LOL.

Leaving behind the destruction of their world the Pinnerite people find their way to Earth.  Seeking refuge from an evil force, the leader of the alien race convinces Earth’s major governments to allow colonization of Antarctica.  The evil seems to have followed the Pinnerite people though, and now Earth is racing to prepare for a war they can not win.

& n b s p ; & nbsp;          The first obstacle is finding a new place for the people of the Antarctic colony, as it is slowly losing power and life support.  Australia is the obvious choice but the continent is ruled by a ruthless family of Emperors, who have magic at their disposal.

The battle for Australia brings Arra’s own magical abilities, which almost lead to her death.

& n b s p ; & nbsp;          This is a fast paced novel, with plenty of excitement and drama.  Characters are full of personality, and mystery.  The battle for Australia is just the beginning of the adventures for the young heroes, and the war to win the world will test their resolve and friendship.

     One of the intriguing things about this story is the fact that clones are living with us today.

     The story revolves around Theodore and his clones.  Theodore rises through the Priesthood bringing harmony and World peace.  Two unsuspecting doctors develop a near perfect cloning procedure complete with accelerated growth to mimic the donor at any time in his life.  The doctors' motives are pure.  However, these clones have no soul, no conscience.  They commit terrible crimes with no remorse.  They drown their children, even set them on fire. The clones have gone into their schools and shot their classmates.  Death or pain have no meaning to them.

     The science of cloning continues.  The “research” of body parts cloning provides the cover as harvesting becomes big business.  Multi-billion dollar business to be exact.

     The true Theodore does wonderful things, however his evil clone who has been linked to him through a computer chip takes over and the World is Satan’s!  During a séance at the NATAS TEMPLE, Satan reveals himself and takes control of one of the doctors.  He obtains complete access to the NATAS CHAMBER.

     Since the clones have no soul or spirit, Satan, (Theodore’s Clone) gives them one of his.  A spirit of evil, they become his disciples.  A methodical plan of the replacement of people with their own clone, one controlled by a microchip directly connected to Satan is enacted.  The procedure of implanting “chips” in people for identity safety begins.  Without this mark people cannot buy or sell.  As Theodore’s clone continues to rise in power this practice becomes law.

     Theodore’s clone mimics good and turns it to evil.  He assassinates the real Theodore and rises from the “dead” in his place.  He eventually claims that he is GOD.

Locke asserted that "the one (idea of something) no sooner comes unto the understanding than its associate appears with it." The book is layered rather like an onion, one set of ideas engendering another set, beginning with ideas associated with the perception of a small village that is peopled with imaginary individuals, who, themselves have their own ideas associated with found objects from the distant past.
