After moving from the Midwest to Connecticut, Jimmy Pittenger wants to explore along the coastline with his new friend, Mike Decker, as his guide. During one of their many excursions, the boys discover a cave hidden inside a cliff; and uncover a two-hundred-year-old mystery within its walls. What happens next will bond their friendship forever....if they get out alive! Secrets of the Cave is a story about friendship, mystery, pirates, and Native Americans. It''''s every boy''''s (or girl''''s) fantasy...only the fantasy becomes reality for Jimmy and Mike.

Laughter is defined as “a movement of muscles of the face indicating merriment and/or satisfaction”. During the last several years, it has become apparent to me that as we move from childhood to adulthood, the laughter in our lives suffers a reduction at an alarming rate. Does this mean that along with the pressures and uncertainty of adulthood, we are losing the joys of merriment and satisfaction? Many years ago, I attended a seminar given by a well-known cartoonist. His presentation contained a multitude of valuable information; however, I left that seminar with one concept that I will never forget. He indicated that a successful cartoonist will find humor in almost every situation he/she comes in contact with. It became apparent that this kind of mindset would increase the amount of laughter in my lifetime. The cartoons in this book were created to help adults change mindsets and bring more laughter back to their lives. The book contains mostly adult humor, in good taste, based on adult situations. While enjoying this book, the reader is encouraged to take another look at the situations he/she faces every day, find some humor in them and laugh.

Imagine a boundless palette upon which musings can soar, where young minds turn toadstools into tables for mice or mossy banks into condos for moles. Enter a world where faeries dance over sparkling streams, their wings shimmering, while malevolent beasts of legend peer out from the dark, craggy caves in some forgotten valley. In the tradition of Redwall, Wind in the Willows, and Mistmantle Chronicles, with a little splash of Lord of the Rings-style adventure, comes Stella and the Golden Crystal. Stella is a small gray squirrel, a reluctant heroine who must embark on a quest to recover the missing Crystal D’Or, a mystical gem of great power stolen away by the goblins who dwell in the high mountain caves in the distant Valley of No Trees, a place no young squirrel would dare go alone. The goblins are bent on discovering a way to turn the faerie magic of the Crystal D’Or to ill. A clumsy rabbit, a pair of fellow orphan squirrels, a beaver, an ermine, and a marmot make up some of the unlikely allies who join Stella in her attempt to save the Woodland Realm.

Looking at the bewitching night sky observing all the beautiful stars it’s easy to imagine about all the other worlds that are out there. It’s possible to have other planets exactly like ours in a parallel universe. Daily decisions are made from small seemingly insignificant ones to life changing ones. How often are life choices reflected and people wonder what if? The first book of a trilogy. Georgie was a daydreamer often wondering whether she’d made the right choices in life. Her marriage to Steve had hit a low point and they are living apart. Their son Jake is always trying to bring them back together. Georgie had often wondered whether she ought to have taken up the chance to live in America rather than marry Steve. By chance she sees a double of herself on American television which coincides a business trip she is to attend there. When there she challenges her double. She discovers that Gia her lookalike is from a parallel universe and picked up her life. The women try to work out a way to get back to their respective lives. Gia’s planet is the same as earth but changed purely by someone taking a different thought and action. Their adventure is fraught as they swap lives, Georgie stays in America to live the life she regretted giving up, soon realising it wasn’t meant to be. Gia goes to England and faces temptations of Steve who is the equivalent of her husband Sen, who she desperately misses. Both women have their ups and downs and are challenged constantly with being caught out and trying to work out who they can trust.
